I’m looking for a new Bible, preferably New King James Version. I was wondering if any of the NKJV reading ladies out there recommend the Women of Faith Devotional Bible or Woman’s study Bible or the New Spirit Filled Life for Women Bible? What do you like or not like about them?

I have done the Believing God study and found it extremely helpful. I am currently doing the Breaking Free study. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on which of her studies I should do next. Also, do you know any great women’s devotional books? I am trying to strengthen my walk with God. I just want to grow in my walk and keep learning more about him. Thanks for any suggestions. If you know any other person who has great bible studies for women I would be interested. I am only familiar w/ Beth Moore because of women I go to church with has done her studies.

I was raised Baptist, am now Methodist (because of the emphasis of women in the church and the more formal approach to church service that many Baptist Churches have shied away from in the last few years) I am a Christian, I am a mother, strong willed but believe I need a everyday relationship with the Lord. I hope this gives you a little insight to my personality LOL! i am serious but fun-loving and would like some help with this… i have 3 children and a husband in grad school and am working on a second BFA and need to make time for the Lord. Something that i have not allowed a priority lately.

We want something, even if it’s only a month worth of devotions with some real meat in it. Something that will actually cause us to think about our walks with God or our marriage, if it did both that would be AWESOME!
I am also looking for Christian books that may have helped you with your marriage. Studying lots to do a course with the women in my life on how to make their marriages better. I have studdied about 8 so far… but would like to put a few more under my best to have as many ideas as possible. If you have a few that helped you out a lot, would love to hear about them. Thank you so much for your time.
Oh, we have a great marriage.
But we also believe that we are human, and therefore imperfect, and knowing this, we know that there is always room for improvement. Because we have a great marriage we want to work at keeping it that way. As Christians, we believe the first way to do that is to spend time daily together with God. Because we have not been able to find a good devotional we’ve been reading through Luke for now, but hearing someone else’s insights on what we read to get another perspective (devotional) would be great.

I have about 4 or 5 bibles of my own already. I have one that date back to the 1940″s. I have a women’s devotional bible and a few other bibles.
Do you collect bibles?
Is the strange or not strange? I don’t feel its strange. There so many bibles out there today that have different looks to them.

Here’s a bit of background… I’m a 24 year old woman, college student, and grew up going to church. I pretty much walked away from all of it and thats where I’m at in my life right now. I’m looking for a good book for someone my age and everything either a devotional or just any good Christian book to read that might help with where I’m at. Thanks

First of all I’m not married. Second of all I went to a bridal shower(not mine lol) a Christian one and they had a devotional thing. The old lady said “make sure you’re the woman your husband wants to have fun with”
How do you do that? do you make sure you’re the woman he wants to have fun with?

I’m doing a devotional bible study on how men should treat their wives with respect. Matthew 19:9 says “I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaitfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery.” (NIV’84) To understand it deeper I would like to know the original text meaning of “Faithfulness”

Lost my way the past 5 years. I’m getting back to doing devotionals, trying to remember everyday. Praying to find a home church. Are there other things that can help me in my daily life to live as a godly woman?
